冬休みの間、生徒たちは化学の新しいトピックを探求するグループプロジェクトに懸命に取り組みました。生徒たちは、マジックショーを計画し、練習し、その背後にある化学反応を説明しました。当日は、バタフライピーティというハーブティを酸塩基指示薬として使ったマジックや、色が変わる酸化還元反応、グミを使った爆発的な砂糖の酸化還元反応などがマジックショーとして繰り広げられていました。

Over the winter break, students worked hard on their group projects exploring new Chemistry topics. These students designed, practised and performed magic shows, explaining the chemical reactions behind the spectacular demonstrations. There was magic with blue butterfly pea tea as an acid/base indicator, colour changing redox reactions and also an explosive sugar redox reaction using gummy candy.
